Senior Director, Air Strategy, Sort and Compliance, Parcelcast
Sandy has been an integral member of the air forwarding industry for 30+ years and has been a member of the AfA for over 25 years and has continued her involvement by being part of the AfA Regulatory Committee, the Air Cargo Conference Committee and co-managing the Women’s Networking Event at the yearly Air Cargo Conference. She started her career in the operational side of freight forwarding supporting and managing domestic and international cargo transport. After 9/11 Sandy changed her career path to transportation compliance with a focus on TSA & FAA security programs. She created, implemented, and managed import and export compliance programs at multiple freight forwarding operations. Sandy is currently employed as the Senior Director of Air Strategy, Sort and Compliance at Parcelcast, LLC DBA Maergo, a technology-based e-commerce small parcel transportation provider where she manages operations as well as compliance.
