When the AirCargo Conference and its soaring number of attendees land in Nashville this February, it promises to be an action-packed three days of events, insights, and connections. Some attendees are excited to spend the first afternoon at Topgolf, networking with industry peers who enjoy a fun, temperature controlled, golf outing. Others are looking forward to the sponsored evening events that showcase the glittering nightlife that makes Nashville a favorite city for the AirCargo team. So whether you’re looking forward to the educational opportunities or the opportunity to be in the room where it’s happening, we can promise that the Woman’s Networking Event on Monday, February 13 will be bigger than ever. As our fastest-growing event, Women’s Networking Event attendees make it a point to come back year after year.

Women’s Networking Event Co-chair Sasha Goodman, Chief Administrative Officer for Rock-it Global, explains the event’s growth.

“The Women’s Networking Event has really flourished over the years. On top of giving fascinating and illuminating talks, our speakers have been able to successfully underscore the importance of the topics covered to our male colleagues, who have begun attending in larger numbers every year. Another sign that we’re making an impact is the increasing number of women who attend the AirCargo Conference. Our hope is that our efforts can help us reach a gender parity in the attendees of this conference someday soon.”

The Women’s Networking Event focuses on the mentorship and peer support of women in the transportation industry. Consciously acknowledging the lessons and expectations ingrained about the roles of men and women in business, we encourage women and men to attend this event as a support mechanism to ignite insights and secure success across the spectrum. The Women’s Networking Event will focus on diversity and inclusion this year.

Join the Airforwarders Association, Air and Expedited Motor Carrier Association, and Airports Council International – North America from February 12-14 for the AirCargo Conference and mark your calendars for the Women’s Networking Event on Monday the 13th.
